School Mural
Our group did three separate designs. We did a flamenco dancer, a bull and matador, and The Barcelona Dragon. The dancer was on the left wall next to the door at the top and the matador and bull are below her. The Barcelona Dragon is above the door as if sitting on it. The colors for the flamenco dancer centered around the standard red dress, but to give it a more dramatic look we faded down into pink in each layer of her skirt. Her skin tone is darker because she is supposed to be Spanish. For the matador, we used blue and gold for his suit, and the classic red for the cape. The bull is a dark brown, almost black with light tan horns and hooves. For the dragon we decided to stick with bold colors such as green, blue, orange, and purple. The background behind the dancer is a sunset that fades upwards from yellow to blue. The background behind the matador is a stadium, and a blue sky is behind the dragon. We used these designs because we did Mrs. Wells' door and she's the Spanish teacher. She is the one that asked us to do the designs we did.
